With makeup being Joel's master craft, it is no surprise that he has taken it to such great levels of expertise. Having a background in fine arts, it was easy for him to transition into the world of print, celebrity, fashion, and advertising, all while obtaining his high profile clientele. Having been in the beauty industry for almost a decade, it was through a friend that he met legendary makeup artist Sandy Linter, who became his mentor and taught Joel so much, not only about makeup, but the industry as well. Joel is always looking for a new adventure, whether it is on set for Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Elle, W, or working fashion week shows such as Jbrand, Arden Wohl, Telfar, among many others each season, The beauty and fashion industry is ever evolving, and Joel plans on continuing to grow with it !
